Writers Lab & Incubator Submission Opportunities

 Blue Pearl Theatrics periodically accepts submissions from experienced, pre-professional playwrights and screenwriters for consideration in our exclusive, invitation-only Writers Lab and studio incubators. Our programs are selective and rigorous, designed for conservatory-trained artists, current students, recent graduates and writers ready to develop original work to professional standards. 

Eligibility:

Current students, recent graduates, conservatory-trained creators, and professionals
 

Artists ready to develop original work to professional standards
 

Individuals committed to collaboration, discipline, and long-term career growth
 

What We’re Looking For:

Original plays, screenplays, or performance-driven scripts
 

Work with a clear point of view, strong storytelling, and compelling characters
 

Submissions that reflect the mission of Blue Pearl: bold, thought provoking, and emotionally engaging
 

Please Note:

Submissions are reviewed selectively; acceptance is by invitation only.
 

Submitting a script does not guarantee placement in a cohort. Only applicants meeting our eligibility criteria will be considered.
 

Artists accepted into our programs leave with industry-facing assets, owned material, and a professional network.
 

Submission Guidelines:

Include a brief cover letter introducing yourself and your work
 

Attach your script in PDF format
 

Include a short summary (1 paragraph) of the project’s themes and relevance
