Blue Pearl Theatrics is proud to present a tuition-free summer performing arts conservatory designed for passionate young artists who are ready to challenge themselves creatively and bring stories to life on stage. Offered in partnership with the Bronx River Art Center (BRAC), this eight-week program provides aspiring performers with the opportunity to rehearse and perform in a fully staged theatrical production while developing confidence, communication skills, creativity, collaboration, and artistic discipline.

The Youth Performing Arts Conservatory is a production-based program designed for students who are serious about the performing arts and committed to the rehearsal process.

No prior experience is necessary. Passion and commitment are required.

Bring a classic story to life this summer in a magical production of Cinderella. Students will explore acting, storytelling, movement, character development, and ensemble work while preparing for a final performance for family and invited guests.

Experience a classic tale reimagined in this original adaptation inspired by Snow White and the Huntsman. Brown Gold offers a fresh perspective on a beloved story while celebrating courage, identity, friendship, and self-discovery. Students will work together to create a fully staged production through acting, character development, ensemble-building, and storytelling.

Students will:

• Rehearse and perform in a fully staged theatrical production.
• Develop confidence, creativity, communication skills, and artistic discipline.
• Learn acting fundamentals, storytelling, movement, and character development.
• Strengthen teamwork and collaboration through ensemble work.
• Build self-esteem and stage presence.
• Perform for family members and invited guests at the culmination of the program.

Interested students must first complete an online application. 

Following review of applications, selected applicants will be invited to participate in an audition and interview by appointment.

No experience is necessary. Selection is based on enthusiasm, readiness, and commitment to the production process.

Because students are preparing a fully staged production, attendance is mandatory.

 Families should carefully consider summer travel plans and scheduling commitments before applying.

Through the partnership between Blue Pearl Theatrics and the Bronx River Art Center, this program is offered at no cost to participating families. Our goal is to provide meaningful arts experiences that empower young people, foster creativity, and inspire the next generation of artists and storytellers.

Applications are reviewed though July 3rd. Students selected to move forward will be invited to audition and interview by appointment.
